The Estate Action Team oversee the  Estate Action capital programme of home improvements on the estate. Central government funding is used to improve and modernise houses on the estate. The EMB work in partnership with the Estate Action Team at design meetings and take an active involvement in the project process.

The EAT are currently overseeing phase 8 and 9 of the Estate Action funding, which total some �2700000, which help pay for a variety of works. The pictures to the left highlight external works, including; new canopies, roofing, enveloping, fencing, windows and even demolition.
THM 8 & 9 is the final phases of physical improvement that Estate Action will pay for. When this phase is finished the ongoing regeneration of Halton Moor will be nearly complete, with the exception of smaller community based initiatives funded through SRB or Leeds City Council.

The funding pays for a variety of home improvement works. This includes: new kitchen and bathrooms, new roof and double glazed windows, cavity wall insulation, electrical re-wire and many environmental improvements, such as improved traffic calming and parking facilities, and boundary treatment, such as security fencing or planting.
