Ysalamiri Project |
| The Ysalamiri Project represents the Holy Grail of research projects at Oremin. One of Kasr�s longtime goals is to take away the unnatural power of the Jedi. Given the Force-negating properties of the simple ysalamiri, the little creatures are a good place to start. However, just using ysalamiri isn�t enough, Kasr wants to be able to duplicate their abilities artificially. Raising the creatures and using nutritional frames to sustain them is time consuming with little reward. In addition, there is no way to make these frames combat worthy without making them extremely bulky. Research into this particular project has been set on the backburner while more pressing concerns consume the think-tank�s time. The existing work that has so far delved into this complicated issue is all theoretical at best, no sure answers have been reached. However, it will forever remain a long-term goal of Oremin to see this particular ideal realized. |
