| Sith squadron is named in honor of the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader. Every pilot in Sith aspires to emulate Vader, who was said to have been unbeatable in a dogfight. Appropriately, the pilots are all cold-hearted killers and the squadron itself makes it a point to never take prisoners. Sith squadron is by far the most dominant squadron on the Kismet. No other squadron has dared challenge this reputation, not just because of Sith�s considerable skills, but also out of a healthy fear for their own lives. The pilots in Sith hold allegiance to few, giving that honor to Roviditian who recognizes the value of the ruthless fighters even if their methods are a bit extreme even by his standards. They prefer to pilot the TIE Avenger instead of the TIE Defender as the Avenger design was based off of Vader�s TIE Advanced X1. Every pilot in Sith knows the capabilities of their fighters by heart and fly the craft more by instinct than reliance on instruments. This has given them a reputation of being Force-sensitive even though that assertion has yet to be proven. The only problem Sith squadron has had since their move to Oremin has been with Kasr�s distaste of their squadron name. Possessing a known dislike for Force users of all types, Kasr initially demanded that it be changed. However, after talking with Roviditian, Kasr acquiesced and allowed the squadron to keep their name. The decision was borne out of honor for all Roviditian has done for Oremin, not out of fear of the squadron�s fearsome reputation. |
