| Although the odd name doesn�t make it seem very threatening, Incisor squadron fully lives up to its namesake. Like the incisors that fill a mouth, Incisor squadron has a habit of tearing and cutting into enemy fighters before more traditional fighters wear down what is left. The only squadron on the Kismet that does more damage would be the feared Sith squadron. Replacing the traditional TIE Bomber squadron in the Kismet�s fighter lineup, the pilots of Incisor chose to use the Toscan fighter model as it was more versatile in combat conditions and could still deliver some heavy ordinance if needed. The pilots have learned to utilize the Toscan�s adaptability to its fullest and can be counted on to handle most any condition without new orders. The fighters of Incisor are used for a variety of missions, including, but not limited to, long-range scouting, capture operations, and the aforementioned role as a bomber squadron. They can also hold their own in a dogfight as they are primarily used to scatter enemy fighter formations so that the enemy can be quickly dispatched by the space superiority fighters. |
