| 2-10 Partially Vented Guitar Cabinet | |
| This cabinet was built for a friend playing in a rock band in Portland, Oregon. He needed an extra 2-10 cabinet for larger gigs and enlisted our shop to help. He wanted this cabinet to fit under his amp and have the same dimensions. |

Here's our little helper holding things together. The basic box is made with void free birch plywood. The edges are fitted with finger joints and braced with 1" poplar supports. |
| Once the edge joints dry, the box was framed out with poplar and the front and back panels were fitted. Notice the partial venting on the back panel. Also, notice the recess in the side of the front panel supports. The recesses were needed to allow clearance for the drivers and still meet the overall dimension requirement of the box. | ![]() |

Front panel in place. |
| My friend finished the box with brown vinyl, chrome corners, a nice strap handle, brown grill cloth, and a spare Fender emblem. Nice touch! | ![]() |

Covering the back was a little bit of a challenge, but the cabinet looks and sounds great. |
