I think that Halloween: Resurrection is one of the best horror movies I've seen - it's got a great deal of scary suspense that's gonna keep you popping out of your seat all the time, making your hair stand on end... that type of movie. With the use of its special effects, suspensful music that's really got a big part in it, some gore and plot, it really creates this slightly disturbing atmosphere (especially at the beginning of the movie with a bit of psychological feel) that's gonna make you as interested as scared both at the same time. It's like you're dying to know what will happen next but as well you rather don't wanna know. Michael Myers's character is a very well chosen one - he doesn't talk, coz sometimes in other horror movies, the scary characters talking totally make it lame and unprofessional. As if they are trying to be "meanies" but they're just weird people. But Michael is different, he's a psycho and nobody knows what's going through his mind. He does something, even though when he's maybe not always successful, he creates this professional, unreachable atmosphere around him. The music, let me say, plays a very very important part in creating the scary feel. If you hear the music, without even seeing anything, you already feel that you should quickly get out of the movies before you see and experience something.... unpleasant but also something absolutely fascinating. Plot or no plot, the effects especially make the movie as scary as it is. That's why I'll rather keep the plot a secret as not to spoil the surprise... Go and see it as soon as you can, it's definitely worth it for all five senses!
