| HALLOWEEN REVIEWS by the Halloween: The Series writers: DEREK SHARP ERIC HIERS |

| ERIC HIERS: This movie has nothing to do with the previous two Halloweens. There is no Dr. Loomis, no Laurie Strode, and most importantly no Michael Myers. This movie is set in California about a doctor (Tom Atkins), who discovers that a Halloween mask company is trying to bring back the dark times of Halloween. When someone watches the annoying commercial for the companys Halloween masks wearing one of the masks, their heads melt and bugs and snakes grow from their heads. The film is really bad. Maybe if it was not called Halloween III and maybe something else it might have been better. * RANK: 8 out of 8 DEREK SHARP: This is one of the film's I've always managed to avoid but I have read parts of the book, which I regret doing because this storyline for the movie is just INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS gone HALLOWEEN. Even worse there is no Michael (unless you don't count the commerical). From what I read this film was a major disappoint and it has a slow start, which made me want to put down the novel from the beginning. |
