EXT. OF THE MYERS' HOUSE, NIGHT. A group three kids stand
outside the house and look at it.
KID #3
I dare you to go in there.
KID #2
Yeah, go in there.
KID #1
No, what about the Boogeyman?
KID #2
Doesn't exist.
KID #1
That's not what you said before.
KID #3
So, we lied.
KID #1
All right, I’ll go in there.
THE KID TURNS AND SLOWLY STARTS WALKING UP THE STEPS.
The two other kids watch as he opens the front door
and the KID steps through. CLOSING THE DOOR BEHIND
HIM.
THE KID looks around the LIVING ROOM slowly.
KID
Is there anybody in here?
SILENCE.
KID
Now how do I get upstairs?
THE KID FINDS THE STAIRS and slowly follows them up
until he reaches the end, where he stops and hears
the creaks of the floorboards.
THE KID looks down the hall but there's nothing there.
KID
It's okay...just your imagination.
THE KID continues down the hall to MICHAEL's SISTER'S
room, where the window is at. He walks toward the
window and waves down at the others, who run off.
KID
No....
THE KID TURNS AROUND AND STARES STRAIGHT INTO A
FEMALE'S FACE that has rotted. THE KID SCREAMS.
FADE TO BLACK.
ROLL CREDIT SEQUENCE.
CUT TO: THE HADDONFIELD TRIBUNE, DAY. LOGAN
CARPENTER sits at his desk, flipping through folders.
HS PHONE RINGS.
LOGAN
Hello.
CUT TO: TOMMY DOYLE talking into his phone.
TOMMY
You thought it’s over yet?
LOGAN
Thought what over?
TOMMY
What do you think? We've been talking about it over a
week.
LOGAN
No, I can't seem to remember.
TOMMY
Staying the night at the Myers' place. You know
waiting for Michael.
LOGAN
What makes you think he's going to appear?
TOMMY
What made you think we were going to find the kids at
Smith's Grove?
LOGAN
A hunch...wait, you’re going on a hunch. No, please
don't tell me this.
TOMMY
Sorry, a hunch it's a hunch. You following?
LOGAN
What about Lindsay, she up for your little adventure?
TOMMY
She'll be there. I'm not worried about her; she can
take care of herself. It's you I think, that’s
afraid of this more than anything.
LOGAN
And you figure that how?
TOMMY
Look man, don't make me come down to the office and
get you.
LOGAN
And if I don't show?
TOMMY
Well, you’re screwed.
LOGAN
Fine, I’ll be there before sundown.
CUT TO: THE MYERS' HOUSE, THE SUN BEGINS TO SET.
TOMMY, LINDSAY and LOGAN stand out in front of the
house. TOMMY lifts his handheld camera and gets a
shot of the house as the sun begins to set.
LOGAN
So...where do you think Michael's at?
LINDSAY
Don't know...he's bound to be in there.
TOMMY
If he isn't we're just going to have use the files.
LOGAN
I thought we had agreed on using the files in the
beginning.
TOMMY
We did...
TOMMY turns the light on the camera.
LOGAN
Can we do this?
TOMMY
Yea, we can do this. If you'll just be patient. I
need to check around back.
LOGAN
I'll do it.
TOMMY
What are you packing heat?
LOGAN lifts up his jacket and reveals a gun.
LOGAN
A guy's gotta be ready for anything after meeting
Michael Myers'.
LINDSAY
You know how to shoot that thing?
LOGAN
I've had my experience with a gun.
TOMMY
Fine, follow me.
TOMMY walks around the side of the house recording
everything with his camera. IN THE DISTANCE, SHADOWS
SHIFT AND MOVE COVERING TOMMY, LOGAN and LINDSAY.
LINDSAY
So what's the plan?
TOMMY
We stay together, nobody leaves each other’s sight.
LOGAN
A bit tight aren't you.
TOMMY
I don't think so, Logan. Remember what happened to
your face the last time, Michael attacked?
LOGAN
Yea.
TOMMY
Imagine that with a knife or an axe.
THE GROUP STEPS INTO THE BACKYARD, THAT APPEARS TO BE
EMPTY.
TOMMY LOOKS UP AT THE WINDOW AND A FEMALE APPEARS.
TOMMY
Guys, you seeing this?
LOGAN
What?
LINDSAY
I think I'm seeing it.
LOGAN
I thought this place was abandon.
TOMMY
It is.
THE FEMALE backs away from the window and TOMMY runs
in. RUNNING UP THE STAIRS, crossing and ending up in
the room. LOGAN and LINDSAY follow behind just as
quickly.
LOGAN
Where is she?
TOMMY
Not here.
LOGAN
Then where did she go?
TOMMY
Don't know.
TOMMY moves the camera around the room and starts
walking down the hallway.
TOMMY (turns the camera on himself)
It's 8:05 PM, no sign of Michael Myers' but we did
see a girl in her teens, maybe early twenties
standing at the window. But upon inspection, she
disappeared or went into one of the rooms, we’ve yet
to check.
LOGAN
Who's room is this?
LINDSAY
You don't know?
TOMMY
Michael's sister's. Where he killed her.
LOGAN
Sorry, I don't know this house that well. I know the
story and what Michael has done over the years,
that's it. I've never had the guts to venture into
this house as a kid.
LINDSAY
So you're local.
LOGAN
Have been for a long time. What about you?
LINDSAY
That's none of your business.
LOGAN
But it is...you were witness as much as Tommy was and
you know as well as Tommy, fate has brought us all
together.
TOMMY (turning with his camera)
What are you talking about?
LOGAN
Fate bringing us together.
LINDSAY
And that has what to do with us?
LOGAN
Michael brought you both back together like on
Halloween night and he wants to finish his business.
LINDSAY
I want to finish my business with him as well...so
what's your point.
LOGAN
Just that fate brought us together.
TOMMY
Us? What do you mean?
LOGAN
Mean...Michael Myers' didn't just attack me. He
killed my brother...
TOMMY
Slow down...will you.
LOGAN
My brother was one of Michael Myers' first victims...I
was close to your age, maybe a little older when it
happened. My parents neglected to tell me about it at
first but they eventually did...and when I found
out...I wanted blood. I still do.
LINDSAY
So you've got as much business as we do with Michael.
TOMMY
And the Thorn.
LINDSAY
Who?
TOMMY
It's a long story.
TOMMY walks out into the hall and scans the hallway
with his camera.
TOMMY (CONTINUED)
So why did hold back so long?
LOGAN
I had things to do...for one, I didn't exactly know
if I could trust you. I mean, you were on a crusade
of your own but I found the files and called you...
TOMMY
And we were forced together to face Michael Myers'.
Was that your first meeting with him...I mean he did
smash your face in?
LOGAN
It was.
LINDSAY
So you faced Michael-one on one.
LOGAN
He attacked me from behind.
LINDSAY
Great, then what exactly did you do?
LOGAN
Got up and found Tommy.
LINDSAY
And what happened?
LOGAN
We barely escaped Michael's grasp.
TOMMY
It was close but we managed to make it...if it hadn't
been for the guy upstairs on the intercom.
LOGAN
X, as I call him.
LINDSAY
Who?
TOMMY
You see we never really saw the guy but he left us a
picture of Loomis.
LINDSAY
So?
TOMMY
We don't know who's side, he's on.
LINDSAY
Is that all you know?
LOGAN
Pretty much.
THE THREE walk into another room.
TOMMY(to the camera)
Nothing here either...I could have swore I saw a girl.
LOGAN
Maybe we're just seeing things.
LINDSAY
Don't be serious, you saw her to...Logan.
TOMMY
Let's stay in the living room.
TOMMY leads the way down the steps and crosses into
the living room. For a moment, he plays with the
camera and pauses it.
TOMMY
I got it.
TOMMY lifts the camera and THE IMAGE OF A GIRL IN THE
WINDOW APPEARS.
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE INTO: THE MYERS' LIVING ROOM, NIGHT. TOMMY,
LOGAN and LINDSAY are talking.
LOGAN
This can't be real.
TOMMY
It is...You saw it yourself.
LOGAN
Yea, and I don't believe it.
LINDSAY
Your afarid aren't you.
LOGAN
Is anyone upstairs?! If you are please show yourself!
TOMMY
There's nobody here and you know it.
LOGAN
Then what is it?
TOMMY
You want my theory?
LOGAN
And what's that?
TOMMY
Michael's sister is long since dead and she's come
back to haunt this place.
LOGAN
Can you prove it?
TOMMY
The film doesn't lie...and you saw her with your own
eyes, that's why you came running up with us.
LINDSAY
So quite lying to yourself.
LOGAN
I can't believe it...
LINDSAY
You do believe and you know it.
LOGAN
I believe in Michael Myers', that's it. Ghost and
witch's don't exist! And that's all there is to it.
TOMMY
You do realize how many people have died in this house
don't you?
LOGAN
More than one person...No, do not tell me there are
ghost to.
TOMMY
It's possible since they died tramuatic deaths...
LOGAN
I'll prove you wrong tonight, you go your way I'll go
mine. You have another camera in the van?
TOMMY
Yea.
LOGAN
I need it.
TOMMY
Then go get it.
LOGAN
Where's it at?
TOMMY
In the back in a camera case.
LOGAN turns and walks outside with the door open.
(The camera follows him to the Van.) He climbs in and
pulls the camera out and from the side, THE VAN's
wall starts to have knife cuts coming into the side.
LOGAN jumps out and lifts the camera and looks at it.
LOGAN
Guys! Get out here!
CUT TO: TOMMY and LINDSAY jumping up and taking off
outside. LOGAN stands paralyzed as the knife like
attacks to the van stop.
LINDSAY
What?
LOGAN points to the van side, where the punctures are
at.
TOMMY
What caused this?
LOGAN
A knife...
TOMMY circles and looks at the van.
TOMMY
There's nobody here...no weapon...or anything...but
they damaged the van with little to no trouble.
LOGAN
There was somebody or something there.
TOMMY
Could be human...
LOGAN
It wasn't human.
TOMMY
Did you get it on film?
LOGAN
I got something on film.
TOMMY lifts up the camera and rewinds it. THE IMAGE
OF NOTHING STRIKING THE VAN SHOWS.
TOMMY
There's nothing in this shot, yet it's happening.
LOGAN
So what do you think we're dealing with now?
TOMMY
More than one ghost.
LOGAN
Who did we see first?
TOMMY
Michael's sister...
LINDSAY
There's no telling who did this?
TOMMY
I've got a few possibilities but there slim...
LINDSAY
Who? You didn't witness any deaths in this house.
TOMMY
Your wrong I witnessed the murders...a few years ago,
I used to live across the street. I knew Kara Strode
as well...I'm trying to find her son, Danny and
Jamie's child.
LINDSAY
What are you, a detective now?
TOMMY
That's what it seems like I've turned into but I've
got obiligations to the kids.
LOGAN
Guys, can you stop for a minute...I need a coffee or
something.
LINDSAY
Shut-up! What obiligations do you have to me? I
mean...we were both attacked by Michael.
TOMMY
You left on your own without telling me. What could I
do?
LOGAN
If you two are going to be like this...I'm walking
into town to get a coffee...anybody want anything?
LINDSAY
Get something straight I left in the 80's because of
Michael...I had a friend, that was killed by him...
LOGAN walks off into the street.
TOMMY
And you didn't tell me, why?
LINDSAY
You were obessed with the past...I couldn't find
myself to say anything.
TOMMY
Logan! Don't leave...I've got coffee in the van.
LOGAN turns back and TOMMY hands him the other camera.
LINDSAY
I'm sorry but you didn't seem to be the most trusting
person in the past.
TOMMY
Get something right for once, you can trust me...I
want Michael out of the picture as much as you do.
LINDSAY
Then lose the camera.
TOMMY
I will soon...just let me document the information.
LINDSAY
And what post it on your website?
TOMMY
Actually, that's what I was thinking.
LINDSAY slaps him and LOGAN watches as she walks into
the house.
LOGAN
You've got a website?
TOMMY
Built it in '94...close to top of the line now...most
of my contacts come from it.
LOGAN
You've got contacts?
TOMMY
More than one. Speaking of that...I've got to meet
one tommorow afternoon...if we make it through the
night here.
LOGAN
You okay?
TOMMY
Fine, she'll get over it. It's just all the stress
she's been through and coming back...home.
(THE CAMERA PANS UP TO THE HOUSE AND TOMMY AND LOGAN
STANDING IN FRONT OF IT.) FADE TO BLACK.
FADE INTO: LINDSAY running upstairs to MICHAEL'S
SISTER'S ROOM, where she sits down on the floor with
her back to the window. She looks around the room...
THE ROOM BEGINS TO CHANGE IN COLOR TO THE ORIGINAL
LOOK, ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT.
LINDSAY looks left and right but finds herself sitting
in front of a mirror in a white night gown. She
reacts slowly by looking around but doesn't move. On
some instinct, she reaches out and picks up her hair
and starts combing it.
CUT TO: TOMMY and LOGAN downstairs with their
cameras.
LOGAN
So...you two dated?
TOMMY
No...why?
LOGAN
Just being the curious journalist.
TOMMY
So you believe now?
LOGAN
No...you?
TOMMY
If you have seen as many ghost as I have...you have
to.
CUT BACK TO: LINDSAY combing her hair and she starts
counting.
LINDSAY
Three....four...five...six....
She glances at her teddy bear, which seems to smile
back at her as she hears footsteps coming up the
stairs.
LINDSAY
Who is it?
CUT BACK TO: TOMMY moving up the stairs with his
camera and LOGAN following slowly behind him.
LINDSAY(VOICE ECHO)
Who is it?
TOMMY
Lindsay...where are you?
CUT BACK TO: LINDSAY. She watches as the door to her
room comes open to reveal a young Michael Myers' in a
clown costume with a butcher knife in one hand.
CUT BACK TO: TOMMY nearing the door and trying it.
It's locked. TOMMY kicks it.
TOMMY
Lindsay? Can you hear me?
NO ANSWER.
CUT BACK TO: LINDSAY as young MICHAEL is about to
strike her with the knife.
TOMMY kicks the door open and runs up to LINDSAY, who
is in a trance. LINDSAY shifts as if she were struck
by a knife and falls to the floor in the same style,
that Michael's sister was found. LOGAN puts the
camera down as he sees blood start to appear on
LINDSAY's shirt.
TOMMY lifts up her shirt and finds no wounds on her
body.
TOMMY
Lindsay? Are you okay?
LINDSAY's eyes snap open and she starts gasping for
air.
LOGAN
Lindsay...is she alive or what?
LINDSAY
Alive...I think. What just happened?
TOMMY
That's what we would like to know?
LINDSAY
I don't feel so well...
LINDSAY starts coughing and coughs out a little bit of
blood.
LOGAN
You don't look so great.
LINDSAY
Look at yourself in the mirror...Carpenter.
LOGAN
I'm not joking...Lindsay.
TOMMY
Neither is she. We've got to get her out of here.
THE DOOR SLAMS IN FRONT OF THEM AS THEY BEGIN TO WALK
OUT. LOGAN tries to open the door but it won't open.
LOGAN
It won't open.
LOGAN pushes on it and the door won't shift forward.
VOICE
No one leaves...
LINDSAY
What's that?
VOICE
Everyone dies.
TOMMY
We've got a problem...
LOGAN
Like I didn't already know that.
TOMMY
Any ideas?
LOGAN
Window...
LOGAN lifts the window up and looks down.
TOMMY
How's the drop?
LOGAN
We can make it...
LOGAN climbs out the window and shuts on his hand
leaving him hanging by one hand.
TOMMY
No, we can't.
LINDSAY
The children want revenge...
TOMMY looks down at LINDSAY, who appears to be in a
trance.
TOMMY
What?
LINDSAY
for the deaths...that have been caused...
TOMMY starts kicking the door but nothing happens.
CUT BACK TO: LOGAN hanging onto the window with it
smashed down on his hand.
LOGAN
God help me...if I let go I might die.
VOICE(from behind)
And so shall it be...
The window lifts and LOGAN's fingers start getting
pulled up one by one. LOGAN tries to reach with one
hand but he can just barely reach and his hand is
forced back. His last finger goes and he falls
down...
FADE TO BLACK.
FADE INTO: MICHAEL'S SISTER'S ROOM, NIGHT. TOMMY
kicks at the door and LINDSAY is in trance talking to
herself.
TOMMY
Open...
TOMMY kicks harder this time and the door opens to the
main hallway. LINDSAY follows in her trance-like
state behind him.
CUT TO: THE OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSE, NIGHT. LOGAN
climbs up and looks at his hand...
LOGAN
I'm alive...but where's Tommy and Lindsay?
LOGAN looks up at the house.
CUT BACK TO: TOMMY walking down the hallway with
LINDSAY following behind him.
LINDSAY
Those who have suffered will be avenged.
TOMMY
What are you saying?
LINDSAY strikes TOMMY and knocks him out.
LINDSAY(voice changing)
My life will be avenged.
LINDSAY walks away swinging her hips and vanishes down
the hall.
CUT TO: LOGAN tries to open the front door while
holding his hand.
LOGAN
Please open...
THE DOOR OPENS WITHOUT ANY TROUBLE.
LOGAN
That was easy.
LOGAN walks in and he shuts the door behind himself.
LOGAN
Guys, if you're here I've come to the rescue.
LINDSAY walks in from the side.
LINDSAY
You wish.
LOGAN
You okay, Lindsay?
LINDSAY
Fine...just hurting...
LOGAN
Where?
LINDSAY(points)
Here...here...and here.
LOGAN
Can I do anything for the pain? And where's Tommy?
LINDSAY
Out of the picture.
LOGAN
What do you mean?
LINDSAY
He's out of the picture is that not enough for you?
LOGAN
I don't want him out of the picture.
LINDSAY
You don't want me?
LOGAN
Your coming on fast aren't you?
LINDSAY
No man has ever turned me down. I had a boyfriend,
that could have been my husband but Michael killed
me...
LOGAN
Your Michael's sister?
LINDSAY
Was...now I'm part of your friend...
LOGAN
No, this is my imagination...
LINDSAY appoarches him and forces him back up against
the wall.
LINDSAY
Is this your imagination...I don't think so.
LINDSAY moves into kiss him but LOGAN tries to back
away. He can't.
LOGAN
Where's my brother?
LINDSAY doesn't back away.
LINDSAY
Dead...like the rest of us.
LOGAN
Do you know how he was killed?
LINDSAY
He was having sex with one of Laurie Strode's
friends...honey.
LOGAN
Good but...
TOMMY strikes LINDSAY on the head with a board.
TOMMY
Sorry but you can't have her.
LINDSAY lays face first on the floor and doesn't
appear to be moving.
LOGAN
Thanks for the save but I was starting to enjoy that.
TOMMY
It's not going to happen. It didn't for me.
LOGAN
Is it over?
TOMMY
Don't count on it...Brother.
TOMMY grabs onto LOGAN by his neck and forces him onto
the wall.
LOGAN
What's going on?
TOMMY(demonic-like tone)
You know what's happening, brother but you always play
the fool. Don't you?
LOGAN(coughs)
Who...needs to know.
TOMMY
You know the truth. Don't get all big and bad on me
now. I know your faking your emotions since your a
journalist.
LOGAN
Can I quote you on that?
TOMMY tosses him across the room and LOGAN lands
beside LINDSAY's body.
LOGAN
How you doing beautiful?
LINDSAY turns her head and her eyes are in the back of
her head.
LINDSAY
I've been better...
LOGAN
Great...
LOGAN starts running in the other direction, which
links into the hallway.
LOGAN
Need an exit...
LOGAN sees a door headed down to the basement and
takes it. LOGAN follows the stairs until they end and
he goes into another room, which is a dead end.
LOGAN
This is good.
THE BASEMENT DOOR CREAKS OPEN UPSTAIRS.
TOMMY
Brother...where are you?
LOGAN looks around and can't find a way out.
LOGAN
Need a plan...
LOGAN circles back to the dead end.
LOGAN
That's not a plan.
TOMMY
Brother...
LOGAN turns and stops.
LOGAN
You want me, brother...I'm right here!
TOMMY steps in front of his brother.
TOMMY
You shouldn't have run...you know I'll always protect
you.
LOGAN
Then why are you attacking me?
TOMMY
I'm a little pissed off...
LOGAN
A little...that was not a little.
TOMMY
Get over it...and join us!
LOGAN
Join us! Who's us?
TOMMY
The people that have been killed by Michael Myers',
who else.
LOGAN
I'm living thank you very much.
TOMMY
You and your friends won't be for long if you keep up
what your doing.
LOGAN
Your kidding right?
TOMMY
I would never kid, brother.
LINDSAY comes up behind TOMMY.
LINDSAY
Trust him, he will protect you.
LOGAN reaches behind himself and grabs a broom and and
a stick, which he uses to make a cross.
LOGAN
Leave this place! God commands you!
TOMMY grabs onto his shoulder and LINDSAY knocks the
broom and stick out of his hand.
TOMMY
Sorry, preacher man-it isn't that simple.
LOGAN
Leave this place!
LINDSAY
Shut-up! Will ya...you'll wake the neighbors.
TOMMY
Please do...
LOGAN
What do you want? I mean...you want your life back or
what? If you do you've come to the wrong guy.
TOMMY
Stop lying brother.
LOGAN
I'm not...brother.
TOMMY
We want Michael Myers' dead but we need your help.
LOGAN
What do I have do?
TOMMY
Kill him yourself!
LOGAN
Do you even know what your talking about doing?
TOMMY
Ending our misery and saving millions, many hundreds
of other peoples lives.
LOGAN
It's not that easy...
LINDSAY
We know...
LOGAN
I attacked him myself, I didn't even hurt him.
TOMMY
Then find a way to do so...
LOGAN
That's not as easy as it may sound.
LINDSAY
Tell us something we didn't know.
LOGAN
Here's the deal...you leave my friends alone and I
kill Michael on my own...
LINDSAY
I'm not leaving this body...
LOGAN
Do it!
TOMMY
We'll do it. If you do us, the favor we asked.
LOGAN
Let's put it this way brother, I've been trying to do
it my entire life...now I've got friends, that can
help me. We'll both be at peace when Michael Myers'
is dead...
TOMMY
And all of us...will be at peace.
LINDSAY's eyes roll back into their normal position
and TOMMY looks around curiosly.
LINDSAY
What just happened?
LOGAN
It's a long story.
TOMMY
How long?
LOGAN
Two or three coffees long.
TOMMY
My head is killing me...a coffee sounds good.
LINDSAY
Coffee it is.
THE SUN STARTS PEAKING THROUGH THE BASEMENT WINDOW
INTO THE BASEMENT.
LOGAN
Sunrise...
TOMMY
The dawn of a new day.
LOGAN
Peace.
LINDSAY
Can we leave now?
TOMMY
I guess so.
THE GROUP WALK OUTSIDE and don't look back at the
house.
CUT TO: THE WINDOW, DAY. INSIDE THE ROOM THE CAMERA
floats up and records the groups as they walk away.
IT TURNS slowly to a GROUP OF THE DEAD: MICHAEL's
SISTER, and FIVE OTHERS.
FADE TO BLACK:
ROLL CREDITS.
