The story of Grimstone Cemetery....
Deep in the heart of grape country, stood a grand old manor. The manor provided jobs and shelter to all those that needed it, through good times and bad times some 150 years ago. But not all were happy. Some were still jealous of the manor's young residents, and decided they were going to take action. One dark, foggy, stormy night, the jealous town's people called for Michael Masterton, to save a young lady that had been lost out in the lake. Michael took to his boat being unselfish and kind, but was never seen again in the rough waters. A grave was erected outside the manor by Lady Lori Masterton, who was never the same. Aside with grief, she still continued to help those in distress taking them in to the manor. Until....Another dark, foggy night fell on Grimstone Manor, many years later, which now housed many lost souls in the cemetery beside poor Michael. A dark mysterious stranger in a long black cloak and a hidden face appeared, and told Lady Masterton the true story of her husband's death. There had been no girl in the lake that night, it was an evil ploy by certain jealous people. Lady Masterton grew enraged, and turned to witchcraft and called upon spirits, evil and dark to haunt the town's people that caused her husband's death. These same spirits protected the manor from all those that came near that were ill of heart. The town's people could not take the nightmares, the fear that clouded their lives, even in their own guilt. The tried to set the manor ablaze, watching as Lady Masterton went up in flames with the building, laughing a shrill laugh as the manor crumbled to the ground.
Each night around the time of her death, she, the spirits and a shadow of the manor returns. If you are lucky, you will only catch a glimpse. If your heart is not true, you may be unlucky, and be haunted with the vision of the manor just as the town's people were each night of their lives, even after the manor was gone........
