Quest guide

  1. Start the quest


  2. equip cat speak ammy
    Go to well and try to enter. The cat will stop you and then attack you. Return to start point to ask why you can't enter.


  3. Head East of the agil pyramid to ancient tomb. Either through the swamp or use agil shortcut from the agil pyramid.
    The door beside the one from Dealing with Scarabs.


  4. let you cat out, the search holy wall. The cat will go through and open a door.
    Take the pick axe out of the wall by the entrance.


  5. go through the east door and kill the 3 skeletons then break down the door. You'll want to range/mage them. The Skeletons will mage you.
    Press the switch on wall then run past wall spikes

  6. enter the door then kill the minions
    Once the guardian then pick up the key and open the door to the and pull the lever.


  7. Repeat steps 5-6 for the west side.


  8. Go back to the main room and then head north through the disabled traps
    Equip ghost speak ammy
    Talk to ghost to learn how to combine slayer mask and earmuffs


  9. return to city Poll and enter well
    Head north and kill banshees till you a banshee voice(head)
    Use the banshee void on the north barrier this will allow you to pass through


  10. you'll have a short vid


  11. Attack the Banshee Mistress (lvl 111)
    Once dead you'll have another short vid


  12. return to start point and talk


    13. Congrats you have completed the quest.

Unless you perform Turael's tasks, we will give you slayer pts when you have completed 5 tasks, and for ever task after those 5. The more advance the slayer master, the more pts and bonuses we give at every multiple of 10 and 50 tasks.
If you have your task reassigned by Turael in Burthope - before you complete it - we start you off at zero completed tasks.
You can spend the slayer pts on items training or avoiding assignments you'd prefer not to kill - without taking reassignment penalties.

You may buy arrows, bolts, or runes for your slayer task with the slayer pts, or even a special ring of slaying.

With the ring you can tele to pollnivneach, to the slayer tower, or slayer cave. If you have defeated Tarn Razlor, you may also travel directly to his lair, the Ring has 8 charges.

The ring also allows you to check your slayer tasks and reward pts, which doesn't use up a charge at all.

Combining an uncharged black mask, earmuffs, nose peg, spiny helm and face mask will not only cut down on swapping your gear, but also look more stylish.



You can avoid tasks in 2 ways, the cheaper choice, in terms of slayer pts, is to simply clear you task. Clearing your task, using slayer pts, allows you to swap tasks and continue to obtain pts for the next tasks.

The more expensive option will clear your current task and you will never again be allocated those monsters as slayer target.

You can change your mind later on, but we won't refund your slayer pts, so be careful what you choose.
