Madison laughed as she hung up the phone, and her friends all burst out laughing, too. �He knew it was me!� Madison said between hiccups of laughter.
�Oh, Maddi, I can�t believe you did that. Poor, poor Adam.� Tara shook her head.
�Okay, my turn, my turn!� Madison said, quickly trying to get her friends� minds off of the dare she�d just done, �Ally, Truth or Dare?�
�Well, I was going to pick dare, but I think I�d better be safe and go with truth.� Alyson decided.
�You would.� Madison stuck her tongue out at Alyson playfully, �Okay, Ally, here�s a hard one. If we were all in a boat and one person had to be left behind, who would it be?�
�Me, of course.� Alyson said, without hesitation.
Tara groaned, �You can�t pick yourself!� she exclaimed, and started to tickle Alyson.
�But it�s sweet that she can�t pick any of us.� Kennedi said, and went to hug Alyson, who hugged her back tightly.
�Okay, Ally, your turn!� Siobhan said.
�Hmm...Syvanni, truth or dare?� Alyson asked.
�Ooh, better go with truth. After what Maddi did I�m never ever doing a dare again.� Siobhan said, and Madison prodded her friend in the side.
�Okay, Siobhan, have you ever cheated on a test?� Alyson asked.
Siobhan looked hesitant, �Yes, I have.� she finally answered.
�No way! You?� Kennedi asked.
�When?� Tara asked.
�It was in History class in 9th grade. I copied three problems off of Ally because I was stuck.� Siobhan admitted.
�Well, did you get them right?� Alyson asked.
�Yeah. Actually, you got them right.� Siobhan looked nervous.
�Then you�re welcome, sweetie. Just don�t make a habit out of it, okay?� Alyson said, coming over to Siobhan and tickling her.
�Okay, I promise.� Siobhan promised.
Tara yawned, �I�m sleepy.� she said, lying her head on Madison�s shoulder.
�One more, just one more!� Kennedi urged.
�Okay, Kenni, you go then.� Madison said.
�Okay, this is for Tara. Truth or dare?� Kennedi asked.
�Me? Aw, why do I have to be the last catch of the night. Okay, truth, please and step on it before I fall asleep.� Tara ordered, wagging her finger playfully.
�What�s the biggest lie you ever told?� Kennedi asked.
�The biggest lie...would have to be the time I told my parents I didn�t have a cold so I could go skiing with you guys last spring. I�m serious! I�ve never lied worse than that!� Tara said, adamantly.
�I believe you, honey.� Alyson said, leaning her head on Tara�s free shoulder.
Siobhan yawned, �I�m sleepy, too. Let�s go brush our teeth.� she said, getting up and leading the way to the bathroom, her sleepy friends following.
