| Hi, it's Tara here, Tara Louise Maclayne. I was born on December 16, 1984 to Stephen and Margaret Maclayne. I am an only child, even though my mom did try to have more children after me. She miscarried about five times before they stopped trying and decided to focus on the child they did have, me. Their angel Tare. Ally calls me her Tare-bear, which is derived from the fact that my mom and dad call me that. My friends also call me Tare and Tari (which is pronounced Tal-wi). I like to read, and I like Math, which Ally and Maddi call on me to help with a lot. I'm afraid of two things--fire and closed spaces. I won't go in closets or small bathrooms. There was an incident when I was little (about 1st grade) when I was locked in a closet for a good hour during hide and seek because the door locked, and poor Ally tried to get it open, but couldn't and I was sitting there crying while Ally called for my parents (who were out in the yard) and by the time they got me out, I was scarred for life. I also don't like candles, so I have never blown out candles on a cake because I'm too afraid of open flame. But, keep me away from birthday parties and hide-and-seek and I'm good. I love to swim and ski, I am the best skier of my friends, everyone says so. I tried to teach Maddi, Syvanni, and Kenni once and they kept falling on their bums. I love the water, too, snow and water....and hey, snow is frozen water! It's so not suprising that I love the movie "Ice Age" and I also love "Dinosaur" because of the volcano and all the weather changes. I like dinosaurs. I'm afraid of closets, but when we went to the museum to see dinosaur bones I'm just like "Cool!" We met Maddi in 8th grade, Syvanni in 9th, and Kenni in 10th. |
