�Yeah, we know that.� Alyson said, �Look up Luke!�
�Okay�.�Lucas Raminero is an aspiring author and is engaged to be married in August.�� Tara read.
�Ahh, well then there�s no hope of having a Luke and Alyson relationship.� Kennedi joked, to which Alyson swiped at her friend.
�I am so over him, okay? He was my boyfriend 10 years ago for two months, get over it!� Alyson said, pinning Kennedi�s arms down so she wouldn�t tickle Alyson.
�Yeah, but he was your first boyfriend so�.Oh, my God!� Tara cut herself off with a gasp.
�What?� Siobhan asked, mystified.
��Theresa Oberjewi is currently unemployed and has recently divorced her first husband.�� Tara read.
�Oh, my God!� Kennedi cried.
�Ha! That brat finally got what she deserves!� Alyson crowed.
�Alyson Piper, not so loud!� Siobhan reprimanded.
�Sorry.� Alyson whispered, �What about Oliver and Diane?�
Tara scanned the papers, flipping to the next page, ��Oliver Platt is a renowned businessman, and has not married yet, although he is still looking.�� She read.
�Well, he can�t marry Ally.� Kennedi cracked causing Alyson to swipe at her again.
�Diane�.where�s Miss�.aha, Diana Larson is�.okay, you guys don�t need to know this.� Tara said, quickly turning back to the first page.
�Tara! Read it!� Siobhan urged.
�No!� Tara said, and stuck out her tongue.
�Give it!� Kennedi cried, ripping the pages from Tara�s hands.
�Ow!� Tara cried, clutching her hand, �Kennedi!� Tara hunched over, clutching her hand, tears springing from her eyes.
�Tare, what is it, what happened?� Alyson asked, pulling Tara�s hand towards her, �Let me see, honey.�
�Tara, I�m sorry, baby. Let Ally look.� Kennedi said, tears in her eyes, too.
Tara let Alyson take her hand, but as she opened it, Tara yelled out, �Psych!� and held out her hand, which was unmarked.
�Why, you little�.� Kennedi said, lunging for Tara, who shrieked and ducked. Kennedi took a hold of her best friend in a bear hug, �Don�t do that!� she cried.
�Sorry, Kenni, I wub you!� Tara lisped playfully, looking at Kennedi with soulful eyes.
�Oh, not the puppy eyes! All right, I forgive you.� Kennedi said, �But I have the paper, and I will now proceed to look up�.Diana Larson. �Diana Larson is a highly respected lawyer who is married to the richest man in Edina, Leighton Michelin.�� Kennedi trailed off, open-mouthed.
�Um, okay, I want to run now. Like, far away. Fast.� Siobhan said, weakly.
�Ditto.� Alyson agreed.
�Okay, read what it says about us, I want to know.� Siobhan requested.
�Okay, �Siobhan Arintero is a counselor at the local elementary school, and she is married to her longtime best friend, Kennedi Limon.�� Kennedi read, ��Kennedi Limon is a counselor at the local elementary school and is married to her longtime best friend, Siobhan Arintero.� Geez, broken record much?� Kennedi asked.
�Yeah. How about me?� Tara asked.
�Tara�.Tara�.Tara Maclayne is a level two special agent for Edina Missing Persons Unit, and is not currently married.� Kennedi read.
�There�s so much it doesn�t say. What about the classmates who died or something? What do they say about them?� Alyson asked.
�I�ll check.� Kennedi browsed through the back of the stack and found what she was looking for, ��Sadly, Madison Winters died of a brain tumor on November 25, 2004. She will be dearly missed by all.�� Kennedi read.
�By all? Like those who didn�t even bother to know her? I don�t agree with that one.� Siobhan said, and Tara nodded.
�Me neither. I don�t think anyone could possibly miss her as much as we do.� Tara agreed.
�I know.� Alyson said, and the foursome sat for a few minutes reminiscing.
�Dance?� Kennedi asked a few minutes later.
�Definitely.� Siobhan said, and the foursome got up and headed out to the dance floor. They let themselves loose more so than they did in high school, as they now felt comfortable enough to be themselves.
