She sighed. Her friends were at a party tonight. A party. All through their freshmen, sophomore, and junior years all five of them had agreed that high school parties were stupid. But now they were seniors, and not only did all four of her friends like parties, but two of them had even found boyfriends. Not two weeks into their senior year, two of her best friends had boyfriends. They were okay boys, she guessed, but they took a lot of her friends� time. And the other two were deep into schoolwork. No wonder no one had noticed.
Of course, she didn�t get a boyfriend. She was too fat and ugly. That�s why she needed to lose weight. Her friends kept telling her she was skinny, the skinniest of the five, but she knew better. Standing in front of the mirror she could only see a fat cow. That�s what she was, a cow. Her friends were just being nice.

�Monday happened!� Alyson Almond exclaimed as she plopped her try down at the table her friends were seated at.
Madison Winters nodded, �I�m beginning to hate them more and more since the school year started.� she agreed.
�At least it�s a 7th Heaven night.� Tara Maclayne added.
�Yeah. Hey did anyone tape Charmed last night?� Kennedi Limon asked, �I missed it.�
Tara dropped her peice of bread, �Oh my God! So did I! I completely forgot! I was busy doing my homework! I�m a bad Charmed fan, I didn�t even think of it until now.�
Siobhan Arintero smiled, �I taped it, don�t worry. What do you say we have a sleepover this weekend and watch it?� she asked, taking a bite of her chicken.
�Sounds good!� Madison agreed, grinning widely so bits of mashed potato showed through her teeth.
�Now, Maddi, no one asked for a Lookie!� Kennedi smiled, taking a small bite of her bread.
�Speaking of Lookies, here come some.� Alyson swallowed her food and grinned as her boyfriend, Luke, and his best friend, Todd, who was also Madison�s boyfriend came over.
Tara, Kennedi, and Siobhan giggled a bit as Madison and Alyson kissed their boyfriends, �You gonna sit with us?� Alyson asked the boys.
�We would but Coach called an emergency meeting during lunch. We�ll have to catch you next period.� Luke smiled at Alyson and rolled his eyes.
�Okay, bye guys.� Madison smiled too, as the boys walked away.
�Bye!� Siobhan said in a singsong voice, and gave a little wave.
�Syvanni!� Madison scolded, and swiped at her friend.
Alyson blushed furiously and flopped her head down on the table, �Oh he is sooo sooo cuuuute! I love my life! I have my best friends and my boyfriend and my siblings are actually being tolerable lately.� she smiled happily.
�I know, it�s great isn�t it!� Madison agreed.
�You two have boyfriends on the football team! I can�t get over how cool that is!� Tara exlaimed.
�Me neither.� Kennedi agreed.
Madison changed the subject after a few moments of happy silence, �Do you guys want to sleep over at my house this weekend so we can watch the tape?� she asked.
�Sure!� Siobhan agreed immediately. She loved sleepovers.
�Well, it�ll have to be Friday night. On Saturday my mom and stepdad are going out and I have to baby-sit my little sibs.� Alyson explained.
�Friday night it is then.� Kennedi smiled.
�Oh!� Tara suddenly remembered something,. �I might be a bit tired, though, I have a Trig test on Friday.� she explained.
�As do I, being in the same class.� Alyson groaned, �Trigonometry is just evil!�
�That it is.� Madison agreed, �Are Siobhan and I the only ones who watched Charmed last night?� she asked.
�I watched the first half, but then someone called me.� Alyson said, looking directly at Kennedi, �And wanted my help on her science, so I missed the last part.�
Kennedi blushed, �Im sorry! I forgot about Charmed myself until Ally said she was watching it.� she grinned sheepishly.
�You guys will love the ending though.� Madison said, and shared a smile with Siobhan.
�What? What?� Tara asked.
�Just you wait and see.� Siobhan said in a singsong voice, winking at Madison.
