�I love you so much, Kennedi.� Siobhan said, stroking her fingers along Kennedi�s cheek.
�I love you, too. With all my heart and soul, I�ve loved you forever, but this love is different from best friend love, can you feel it?� Kennedi asked.
�I feel it. I�ve felt it since the day we met, I just wasn�t sure what to make of it, and I was so scared of telling anyone. I was afraid no one would want to be my friend.� Siobhan kept her voice at a whisper, not wanting to awaken Tara and Alyson.
�I will always be your friend. I will always be here for you. I love you.� Kennedi also whispered, and then leaned forward again. She lost herself in the kiss, feeling Siobhan�s lips on hers was the most thrilling moment of her entire life. She�d only been kissed once before, and that had been in 9th grade- by a boy. She liked this feeling much, much more.
Siobhan�s mind was racing. She�d never, ever kissed anyone. The minute she thought she was ready for a boyfriend, some big crisis would happen and she�d be set back again. And then she�d met Kennedi and for years was not sure about her sexuality. At first she thought she was in love with Madison, but then Madison had....died, and she�d become more and more attracted to Kennedi. Finally, she could relax and worry about other things. She knew who she was now, and what her major was going to be.

When Siobhan woke up the next morning, Tara was puttering around the room, putting things away, but Alyson was nowhere to be seen. She shifted on Kennedi�s bed, and Kennedi woke up, too, �Hey.� she whispered.
�Hey.� Siobhan smiled at her, and then looked down at the moving Tara, �Hey, Tare! Good morning!�
Tara looked up, bewildered, �Why are you two on the same bed?� she asked.
Kennedi and Siobhan looked at each other, �We�ll tell you with Ally. Where is she?� Kennedi asked.
�She went to get breakfast.� Tara replied, and as if on cue, the door opened, and Alyson walked into the room.
�Hey guys.� Alyson smiled, holding a donut box, �How are you feeling, Siobhan, darling?� she asked.
�I�m great!� Siobhan said, excitedly, �Kennedi and I have something to tell you.�
�Uh-oh, what is it?� Alyson asked, as Kennedi and then Siobhan climbed down from the bed. They sat on Siobhan�s bed, and Alyson and Tara sat opposite on Tara�s bed. They looked at each other a moment.
�Well, um, I�ve finally chosen a major.� Siobhan said, smiling.
�You have?� Alyson asked, intrigued. Tara looked eager, also.
�Yep. Psychology. I want to be a social worker like Kennedi.� Siobhan said, grinning.
�What made you decide that?� Alyson asked, �Just curious.�
�Well, I wanted to be with one of you, you knew that, and I thought it might be nice to help people like people have helped me and Kennedi-and-I-are-lovers-now and getting those kind of jobs nearby are easier than getting a job in the law field, and I don�t know if I can be a teacher.� Siobhan explained, rushing through the one part. Of course, that was the part that Tara and Alyson zoned in on.
�You�re lovers?� Alyson asked.
�Since when?� Tara asked, shocked
�Like lesbian-type lovers?� Alyson asked, not quite so shocked.
�Yes, last night, and yes,� Kennedi said, blushing.
�I hope you guys will still be our friends, though, we don�t want to lose you.� Siobhan said, quietly,
�Oh, no, honey. You�ll never lose our friendship. Whatever you guys decide is cool with me.� Alyson reassured them.
�Thanks. Tare?� Kennedi asked.
Tara took a few breaths, �I-I�m okay....it-it just threw me for a second. Um, how long have you known....that you were lesbian?� she asked.
�A year.� Kennedi said, blushing even more.
�I�ve actually suspected it since the 9th grade, but I knew it two years ago.� Siobhan answered.
�Why didn�t you tell us?� Alyson asked.
Kennedi looked at Siobhan before she continued, �I guess we were both afraid of abandonment. We weren�t sure how the other three of us would take it.� she said, softly.
�Well, you don�t have to worry. You can tell us anything.� Tara said, pointedly.
�We�re your best friends, we�re not going to disown you over that.� Alyson said, softly.
Siobhan and Kennedi both grinned, �You�re okay?� Siobhan asked, tentatively.
�Great.� Tara and Alyson said in unison, and the girls hugged.
As they pulled apart, Tara announced, �Well, I know my branch of law now.�
�You do? What?� Alyson asked.
�Missing persons. I want to help find people and bring them home safely.� Tara grinned.
�Sounds perfect honey.� Alyson grinned then sighed happily, �I think with a preschool teacher, two psychologists, and a special agent we�re going to be doing a lot of good in this world, and we�ll stick together doing it. Promise, guys?� she asked.
�I promise.� Kennedi, Tara, and Siobhan said, and they all hugged again, happy in the choices they had made for their futures.
