Michael walked into the kitchen in somewhat of a panic after an
ominous smell hit him from the other room.
"What is that?"
That referred to a blackened mess sitting on the stove top. Pete
stood staring at it in amazement, as though even he could not fathom
how he had managed to screw up so monumentally.
Finally, he answered. "Uh, dinner?"
"Really? What do you call this dish?" Michael asked, laughing.
"A good try?"
Michael laughed and kissed Pete on the cheek as he walked
past. "Thanks for trying. I'll call for pizza while you clean this
up."
