| Ranger Profiles Click on the name of a ranger to view the character and actors profile What I think of the Rangers Jason Lee When I first saw MMPR it was Jason that I clicked with. I liked his personality (Even if I was only 8 at the time). When the first episode I ever saw finished, the first thing I did was go upstairs, put on a red dress and pretend to do Kim style gymnastics on the kitchen chairs. Soon afetr that I made my grandparents buy me a pair of red jeans. I don't know why I clicked with Jason, I don't even like him these days but back then I used to pretend he was my brother. I'd tell people he was and I even wrote about my 'brother' in my school books. Thankfully none of the teachers ever said anything to me about it though. When I heard that Jason, Zack and trini were leaving the show I was quite upset, I never imagined any of them ever leaving. We'd had people come into the show before but non of them had ever left before. After they left and I started to like the new rangers I soon forgot about Jason and the othrs. I was very surprised when Tommy brough Jason back to be the Gold Ranger, I was so sure it was going to be Tommy's brother David because every time there's been a new character, they've always become a ranger. By this time I didn't like Jason and took no notice of him. He did quite well in the Turbo Movie though. My fave Jason epsiode is... Zack Taylor I just recently had a crush on zack but I'm over him now. At the moment I'm too busy moaning because he was in an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. To me Zack was always quite funnt, especially when he was embarrassing Bulk and Skull and his dancing was excellent. The main episode I remember about Zack is 'Happy Birthday Zack' which is also my fave Zack episode. Billy Cranston What I like most about Billy is the way his character has changed from Dungaree wearing, virtually non understandable wimp into a normal guy who is intelligent, brave and human at the same time. In the beginning he wouldn't even fight, he was too scared most of the time, but he's become a lot more brave over the seasons. Billy wasn't much the centre of attention when it came to episodes but he was always in there with the tchnical language which half of it I still can't spell and this has always made him a valuble member of the power team. They certainly ouldn't have done without him when they became Zeo rangers.Throughout the whole program I've never heard his surname mentioned. I never knew what it was I even made up my own surname for him because in my stories he neded one. So I'd like to know where it came from and where it has been mentioned because I honestly had never heard it before I went on the net My Fave Billy ep is Peace, Love and Woe. Tommy Oliver I didn't think much of Tommy at first. All I saw was a new Ranger, the FIRST new ranger in the program. It wasn't until I saw Power Rangers The Movie that I started to like Tommy. Then afet a while I had three fave rangers. In recent years I've hated Tommy and I never liked him long enough to have a character. Now I'm not so sure how feel about him. I'd taken to calling him pony tailed pratt head, which is what I believe Kim called him in 'Best Man For The Job'. Sort of like fan fic I used to keep thinking that Tommy and Kim had twin girls called Shelly and Kelly, I don't know where that came from though. Kimberly Hart Kimberly was and is my fave female Ranger. She was pretty, funny and she was my girl power hero at the time (Now it's Buffy). I loved gymnastics after I saw her do it, so I started taking lessons, they even tried to get me to do better by saying things like 'when you jump pretend you're a power ranger', but it didn't work because I didn't like my teachers and after a few years I had to wuit because I moved house and it was too far away. I think taht Kimberly is many fans fave female ranger (I've even seen a poll on her) it was always her that me and my friends would fight over when we wanted to play Power Rangers. Before I invented my purple ranger, I was always Kimberly, and I remember acting out the scene from the movie where she is being chase by the skeleton and screaming her head off. I litterally screamed as well, when I think about it I'm surprised I got away with screaming that loud on the play field. I was quite sad when Kim left, I wasn't too keen on Kat and I wonderd what Tommy would do without her. I was very happy when she came back for the Turbo movie, she did and excellent job on that, but I still swear that on the trailer she was dressed up evil like Duvatox. Oh well. Trini Rocky De Santos I absolutely hated Rocky at first, I thought he was ugly and at that age I hated everyone. As I got used to the new rangers I got very used to him aswell. When I first saw 'Wild West Rangers' on the TV I wasn't very happy because the sound wasn't working for the first 5 minutes (to this day I still don't know what was saif for those first 5). Anyway from what I can remember (because I don't have this ep anymore boo hoo) when I saw Rocky and Adam on the stage coach when they were being held up by Bulk and Skull, that was when I fell head over hels for both of them ,they just looked so damn cute. Since then Rocky was my fave ranger (over the past few years I have gone on and off of him, and the others, like a yo yo). I created my own ranger to go out with him (see fan fic) and everything. Personally I never noticed any chemistry between him and Aisha and it never would have crossed my mind if I hadn't found the Rocky and Aisha shrine, I can't imagine them as a couple and I'm glad thay didn't get together because I'm one of the the most jealous girls you can get and I ssoooo wouldn't have liked it, especially after all the work I put into my purple ranger. I didn't want to see the Turbo Movie because I didn't think Rocky would be in it, and when I did watch it I did nothing but cry all the way through it because Rocky got hurt. It was very strange watching the Rangers without him and it would have been even more stanger watching the Rangers without the ones I'd grown to love, so I quit watching it. My fave Rocky episode is Trust In Me Adam Park At the moment Adam is my FAVE ranger and my fave out of all the guys I like. He's is so cute and gorgeous. I have a thing for oriental guys at the moment - Joe Hahn (Korean), Mike Shinoda (Half Japanese) and Dante Basco (Chinese)). Unfortunetely a few years ago because of reasons to do with my Rocky character I ended up hating Adam, so much I made my grandad tear his pictures out of my PR annuals (Which I DEEPLY regret now). I still hated him when I saw the Turbo Movie and so did my best friend who also used to like him. It was only when I started to like him again that I decided to buy the Turbo Movie, so you could say it was him that made me go and buy it. I don't know whether anyone else has ever noticed this but there was a lot of chemistry between Adam and anya if anything I thought they would have got together but of course with the jealous thing, I'm glad they didn't. Worse, though was my friend making jokes about how close Rocky and Adam were (get my piont, I hope) that really annoyed me becasue they are best friends and their friendship is one of their characters best qualities. I was happy with their friendship because it meant I was getting both my faves at teh same time. At the moment I'm dying to see Wicked Game, but being a low budget movie there's little chance of it ever being released in this country. To make matters worse I've just seen the trailer for it on the net and it looks brilliant. Just like Rocky, I have a character for Adam aswell. My fave Adam Episode is It Came From Angel Grove (my fave PR ep aswell) Next page |
