What the hell is up with the spread this week?  After last year I thought Vegas had finally gotten it right,  well Vegas lost money on football betting last year so I guess screwed up spreads will be the norm this week. Falcons 5.5 points over Tampa someone is smoking crack.

Points this week were typical of 1st weeks we have had in the past.  Things should get interesting in about 2 weeks.

There is no NFL dumbass award this week.  But an honorable mention goes to Mitch Cozad, the University of Northern Colorado's reserve punter who was suspended from school after allegedly stabbing his rival in his kicking leg.  This guy has got to be trying for a spot on the Baltimore Ravens.
