The Joe Friday Football League is an invitation only league. We are not a fantasy league. We are of a firm belief that professional football is a team sport. Stars and super athletes my get results but what good is scoring 5 touchdowns if your defense allows 10. This is the flaw of fantasy leagues. Therefore in our league the participants pick winning teams including the point spread. The name of the league is Joe Friday because reason we go with Facts not Stats.

For Participants: the full rules are posted here. A quick overview because I know no one will read the full rules. We use the point spread posted on this site by the site administrator. You can use any point spread you want, but the on that counts is posted on this site. The point spread on the site at noon on Thursday is locked and will not be changed. A point spread may or may not be posted earlier in the week, the spread posted on Thursday is locked. Games with NL (no line) are treated as a 0 point spread. Thursday games are not real NFL games so they do not count. Thursday is the traditional night for JV football games. JV football games are not worth watching, therefore any football played on Thurday is not worth watching. All rule disputes should be sent to [email protected].
