Great Big Sea in Rochester
John Barbour is better placed here than after Hetmethead, but the Rochester audience was either talking or singing with Sean. There didnt seem to be a middle ground where people were listening. This song is very powerful live - it is worth listening to, and not singing along with. I would hate to see it leave the set list as Widow in the Window did early in the No Cares Tour. Its such a powerful song as it winds up to the end. And what a beautiful whistle part!

I love the whistle work on this album. At first I missed the fiddle, but I think Im over that now. Hopefully Ill hear some fiddle in the trad album. But of course I'd also like to hear more bagpipes and accordion and whatever else Bob chooses to play.  Heh!

Danny exchanges instruments for John Barbour. Danny did a yeoman's job with the instruments tonight as he does every night.
This whistle part and the one to Something Beautiful can make you cry.
The drums build up to the end. Kris does a great job.
Sean's vocals build ever so slightly till the end. I wish I had been able to get a good shot of Alan. Everytime I went to take one it was too dark. Alan's pounding bouzouki at the end is powerful also. Ala-in-all, a beautifully arranged song.
