GBS in Rochester 2004
Scolding Wife was great and the harmonies enjoyable. Kris had fun roaming. Kris and Murray spent a lot of quality time together this evening. I tried to get a lot of photos of Kris since I was not very good about that last time. Pointing my camera Kris-ward forced me to notice his singing along in more than the 2 songs I already knew about. He was singing a lot! At some point in the show I heard a harmony I hadnt noticed before and looked up to find it was Kris! GO KRIS! At South Street Seaport two years ago, Kris had told me that GSB was the only band he worked for where he wasnt expected to sing. Nice to hear that change, he has a great voice. I think Scolding Wife has done a lot to give Bob the confidence/push he needed to sing more. I am glad it became part of their repertoire.

Alan hands the verse to Bob as Murray and Kris scheme
Everyone takes their turn at a verse
I have no idea what Alan was doing here with his hands during Murray's verse. I wonder if they still think he "sings like an Ontarian."
General Taylor came right on the heels of Scolding Wife. It was not the fanciest, most over-the-top version of General Taylor I ever heard, but it had to be the tightest harmonies Ive heard in a long time. San was solid in his singing and wowed everyone, especially Sue.
