GBS in Rochester
Encore 2

After a LENGTHY hiatus offstage, they came back on for
Old Black Rum and Rant and Roar. Old Black Rum found my attention wandering Bobward once again. I think he gets a kick out of us loving his song. That one will be a NFLD trad, if its not already.

After the show, Sue commented that she can now understand how you can get addicted to going to shows. Great first concert experience for her and her family. And they WILL be back!
At the end, Alan stuck around as he has been of late, but it seemed he stayed a little longer, lingering, loving the feeling in the room. We were sad to see him go.

We met up with some un-named chatters whom I havent seen in a really long time and ended up outside. Alan was by the bus and we stopped to say hi. He is such a good ambassador for the band. Thanks Alan, for the brief but enjoyable chat and photo.

The ride home was IN THE SNOW!!!!!!! I suppose I shouldnt be surprised, it IS Buffalo. Oy vey. But I was not expecting snow on Palm Sunday in April. The concert ended after midnight, we didnt leave the venue till after 1 AM and it was an hour drive back. Plus the time changed. I think it was 4 AM by the time we got to sleep. Day arrived too soon and I found myself on the raod again driving back to Rochester to pick up Daffy. Drive back home with Daffy was uneventful. Now I get to show off Philly to a Wet Coaster! Hope she likes it!
Alan came out and began crawling on the floor. I thought we might get Sally Ann! But he was looking for some connector or something.
Sean had a hard time keeping it together for a while when one of the audience members decided to flash him mid-song.
Rant and Roar is always good but htis was the first time I noticed Murray singing. I guess he feels like a real Newfoundlander now. Even though Alan still claims he sings like a Ontarian.
The General Taylor stance reappeared for Rant and Roar. He looks good with his hands in his pockets.
"It's straight thru the channel to Toslow we'll go..."
SNOW!!!!!! On Palm Sunday!
