Ordinary Day wrapped it up with the audience in full voice and the bys had a last hurrah. Nicely performed with harmonies fully appreciated by these ears. I used to get upset when I heard the telltale beeps, because it signalled the end. But now, after all this time I can now appreciate why they close with this. What a way to leave you - all full of hope and happy with the world. Nice indoctrination to Alandom. And the fans at the Water Street Theater world sang their hearts out to Ordinary Day. I think the world would sing if I were king, too.

Encore 1 Love appeared and I so enjoyed the reggae beat again. Sans guitar here gets better and better. The drums are great and the vocals beyond enjoyable. The reggae is much more evident in person than on the CD. But I think the first time I heard it in Asheville last year, it had even more of a reggae edge to it. I like it - a lot. The crowd wasnt as rude about this slow one, but weren't into it like the Boston crowd. the visual of Alan and Murray sitting way back so San can have the spotlight - Nice. He deserves it, it's a great song. Gotta believe in love!

Excursions harmonies kept me happy but still missing Darrell. I'd rather have Alan running all over the stage like a crazy person as he used to do. Let Bob sing it! LOL! There were little secret-sharings like this one all evening. This was at the end of Excursion. I do wonder what exactly they were all plotting. Or whether the joke was on us.
