Everything Shines shone well in the lights of the Square tonight. I must say, I dont think Ive enjoyed San and Bobs playing as much as I did tonight on this song, especially the accordion solo. Alan was so posing for photos at the edge of the stage even though wed been told several times already by the security guards about no photos. They gave up enforcing it after a while though till later on in the show. They never made a general announcement so I dont know how they could have prevented anyone farther back from photographing the group. But I kept my duct tape over the flash and continued to shoot a bit. Alan was frustrating because he never stops moving. As soon as Id line it up and press the button, hed move back, jump up or turn around. Argh! I did manage to get a few good ones, though.
San pulled the mic off the stand for General Taylor and probably didnt need to sing at all, as the audience sang most ably for the first verse and a bit. We would have made him sing it again though if hed let us do it all the way through. LOL! Nice notes, very comfortable, nice job, San! |
