| OUR PURCHASE POLICY FOR BUYER AND US (SELLER) As each kid is born, we immediately remove it from the dam, so that it can be hand raised, which creates a special bond between the goat kid and humans. All kids are bottle fed two to three times per day until they are three days old. At that time the kid is moved to free choice milk provided through the Caprine Feeder. We also provide free choice hay and grain, with plenty of water starting at just two days old. All kids are given extra special care so that when your kid is shipped/picked up it is in the very best of health, with a good start on Hay and grain. We feel it is our duty and obligation to provide a gentle loving animal to all our buyers. If you, our buyer have a particular way in which you would like your new goat handled feel free to discuss this with us. We are more than happy to try to accomodate your wishes, provided it does not add to much additonal work into our already busy schedules. All Kids are vaccinated with CD&T prior to shipping. It is our policy that all kids be tested for CAE within 30 days of arrival into your herd. Upon proof of positive CAE test results in the 30 day time frame, we will pay for the cost of testing. We feel that at anytime beyond the 30 day period the animal has had plenty of time to be exposed from within your herd, and we will not be held responsible after that time. Kids testing CAE positive prior to the end of 30 days will be refunded or replaced, upon return of the kid at BUYERS EXPENSE . ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS OR REPLACEMENTS WILL BE MADE AFTER 30 DAYS on any animals, unless it is found to be genetically unsound. All claims for refunds/replacement of CAE or genetically unsound animals must be accompanied by a letter from a certified veterinarian stating the exact nature of the defect, and the date and place of diagnosis, on the veterinarian's letterhead. Please have your vet include his/her name, office address and telephone number. All kids being pre-ordered require a $50.00 deposit. We request that you make two choices when selecting your kid. Your deposit will be transferred to your second choice kid, should your first choice animal not be available. If neither of your choices are available/born your deposit will be refunded or one additional selection will be allowed. Under no other circumstances will your deposit be refunded. Pre-ordered kids must be shipped/picked up by 4 weeks of age. After that time there will be a charge of $1.50 per day for care of your animal. All purchases must be paid at or prior to the time of shipping. ALL health related costs necessary for the transport of your new purchase is the responsiblity of the buyer. We have wonderful vets in our area who very willingly provide accurate health certificates for animals leaving the state of Idaho. Health certificates cost $22.00 plus any necessary testing and blood work. Health certificate costs must be paid prior to or at the time of shipping. We are enrolled in the Voluntary Scrapie Certification Program, with an entry date of FEBRUARY 25, 2002. |
