Midsummer's Eve

It's time to celebrate Midsummer's Eve. What..you've never heard of the holiday? Well come with me and we'll celebrate together, along with the fairys.

As we gather around the fire the celebration begins. The air is filled with the sweet smells of summer. Tonight is the night to daydream of all the wonders the summer holds. Tonight (June 23rd) is the night for mischief and merriment among the fairys. Tonight we embrace summer for the first time this year.

On Midsummer's Day legend has it that any woman who washes her face in the dew of Midsummer's Day will grow more lovely with the passing year. Today we will make Fairy Cakes and tea for a moonlight picnic. There will be plenty of time for star gazing and story telling.

Here is a recipe for fairy cakes that i found while wondering around on the web.
