Ethiopian Prime Minister Leaves for Harare
ADDIS ABABA (June 1) XINHUA - Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi left
here
today for Harare, Zimbabwe to attend the 33rd summit meeting of the
Organization of African Unity (OAU) which is due to open on Monday.
The heads of state and government of African countries are expected to
deliberate on the agenda the OAU ministerial session has adopted.
The summit is due to discuss among other issues, the situation in the
Great
Lakes region, the coup in Sierra Leone and the developments in Somalia and
Angola.
Meles was seen off at the Bole International Airport here by senior
