| *HALF THE BATTLE! is a pop-ska-punk band from Santa Fe New Mexico. They have been playing since late November 2001 but the Idea of *H.T.B! has been around for several years. CHRIS and ZACH originally had the Idea in their 7th grade Science Class where they met. ZACH and CHRIS invited CLAY, a friend of both of them, to play bass (yeah he diddnt know how but that diddnt stop him from joining) and then after going through a couple drummers they found BEN, who was in another Band with CHRIS, PULLIN MONDAY. But now CLAY has parted ways with the band and has been replaced by NOAH, a kid who adds new dimesions to the band with his uniqe Bass lines and motivation to play. They frequently play at Warehouse 21, Santa Fe's local all ages venue but enjoy playing at parties and in peoples back yards too. the band has released 2 demos, the first one has three songs and was recorded in their practice space 4 months after they started the band. The second recording was 11 songs and recorded the same way as the last one was, the band plans on releasing three more Albums by the end of 2004. right now they are currently focusing on performing and writing new material. oh and Sometimes, if you go to a *HALF THE BATTLE! show you might catch CHRIS in the bathroom doing his pre show warm-ups. |
