Laughter

Musical notes too intricate to capture with words

Bubbling from a secret place inside

There are all different kinds

Let your loose any time

To cheer up a sad frown

Or while lounging around

It is the language of all

The oldest of calls

Friendly and open, it invites us to share

Warm and loving, it leaves us bare

Laughter strips away the layers we hide under

It can’t be rejected or taken as a blunder

If you ever are at loss

As to what you might say

Chuckle and hold your breath

Soon the stony looks will turn gay
