Epilogue
Two years later

D walked into the bookstore and waved excitedly to Patty.  She ran over and sat in the chair next to Patty, behind the table where Patty was sitting.  Patty had just gotten her first book published, a romance called The Producer.

D grabbed a copy and flipped through it.  Oh Patty, this is so good, she gushed. Patty just smiled and continued signing books for the people in the store.

Make this one out to Dawnovan, a male voice asked.

Patty looked up, wide-eyed.  Oh my God, Dawnovan! D and Patty yelled and jumped up to give him a hug.

Hey girls! he said with a huge smile.

We havent seen you in forever. How the hell are you?  And how the hell is Lance? D asked.

Well, Lance and I are doing great.  I know its been two months, but weve been in Europe.  Not only that, but Dawnovan smiled, holding up his hand.  The light glinted off the little gold band on his finger.

Pattys eyes widened in surprise.  He finally asked you.

D was equally shocked.  Well, Ill be damned. My boy is married.

Dawnovan nodded with a laugh. Yeah, since last week. They all yelled.  Patty and D were jumping up and down and when Lance poked his head out from behind one of the shelves, they ran over to him and attacked him with hugs and kisses.

Whats all this about? a woman asked.

Jade! Patty yelled.

D laughed.  What is this, Reunion 101? She ran up to Jade and hugged her.

Justin laughed. Hey girls.

Patty and D attacked him with hugs and kisses also.  How have you two been?  And how is little Ivy?  Patty asked, making little faces at the six month old in Justins arms.

Shes good, were good.  The deal with the house went through, so well be moving to Houston sooner than either of us expected.  My mom is still freaking out with the fact that Im a wife and mother now.  Jade laughed.  I think we all are.

D sighed.  I dont know what to think about Chris.  Weve been together two years and he still hasnt proposed.

Well, JC and I barely got married eight months ago.  Patty waved as her husband and Chris came in the front door of the bookstore.

Hello, love, JC said, giving Patty a passionate kiss right in front of everyone.

Hello, she said, dazed, when the kiss broke.

Chris put his arm around D and kissed her on her cheek.  He whispered something in her ear and her face turned red and they both started laughing.

Well, what do we have here? JC asked.

Well Id say this is one hell of a surprise, Joeys voice boomed.  He stepped in the front door and gave his band mates a hug one by one.

Hi Elizabeth, they all greeted.

Elizabeth grinned and waved, one hand on her eight-month pregnant belly.  Joey ran up to her.  Are you okay, honey?

Of course, sweetie. Go play with your boys.  Elizabeth said with a laugh.

Joey laughed.  Actually, there is too much going on to play.  Right, Chris?

Chriss eyes sparkled.  He dropped down on one knee in front of a stunned D.  Hey yo, wanna, like, get hitched? he asked, wiggling his eyebrows and holding out the open ring box. Well, like, duh, D said, accepting the ring and putting it on.  Chris stood up and they kissed while the rest of the group looked on, surprised.

This is just too weird, JC said, standing behind Patty and playing with her hair.  Too many weird surprises for one day.

Are you going to tell him, Patty? D asked, still holding onto Chris, who was nibbling her neck.

Tell me what? JC asked, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. Well lets just say that me plus you plus baby makes three.  Patty said with a smirk, using her fingers to count.

Joey had to catch JC when he lost balance.  Hey, you okay, Jace? he asked with a chuckle.

Me?  A daddy?  You?  Mommy?  JC stuttered. Uh-huh, Patty said with a smile and a nod.

He ran up to her and swept her in his arms.  I love you, Patty, and I always will, he said, gazing into her eyes.

I love you too, she said, and sealed her proclamation with a kiss.
