My name is Colleen Campbell-Carter
I graduated from Union Springs Central School in Union Springs New York in 1981.
I attended B.O.C.E.S Vocational School for Cosmetology while in school and began
my career as soon as I graduated.
I owned my own Salon in Union Springs for the first 3 years,
then re-located to Ft. Myers Fla in 1983 and worked in a salon there until 1991.
I missed the snow!!!! NOT!!!!
I married and had a Beautiful daughter ,
then brought her back up here to enjoy the New York State Cold Weather !
In 1993 I opened " Basin Street Beauty " on Basin Street Union Springs,
then relocated to the Main Street in 1998
Changed the name to " Hair Designs by Colleen "
and have been here since.
I Love Union Springs and all of my wonderful customers.
I will probably retire from Hairdressing in this village.
