Johann Meets The GOD OF HELLFIRE..Arthur Brown
I met Arthur after his brief appearance in the play "Nico Icon" which was staged at Islington Mill in Salford. on 23.11.07. He performed a song from his "Tantric Lover" album, with new "Salford" lyrics..

It was great to chat with him about his Kingdom Come days, learning that "Space Plucks" from "Galactic Zoo Dossier" was earmarked as a single...Also his forthcoming 40th anniversary for the release of "Fire." This may include another re-grouping of Kingdom Come..Great news since I missed his OTHERWORLDS show...

He is about to take the stage in a new production, of which for the time being, he is cautious not to reveal details..

Johann Kloos on "Under The Influence" at Phoenix FM
10.10.07 at 10pm -12am.

This show, hosted by Paul Coogan, featured Clive Richards, mastermind and founder of Fragment Records. who treated us to a two-hour fest of music released on this label, including tracks by Erick, Johann Kloos, Moisten Before Use, Erixma and The Switch Off Option. Tracks by Johann were "Sometimes You Have To Let Go" and "Masque Ball."  Also featured  was the song "Storm Petal Suzie" by Johann from "Fuzzyfelt" by Erick.  It was high time for a reappraisal of the wonderful music by these people, who have worked on the fringes of the independent scene, ignored for two decades.

Clive and Erick vocalist and songwriter Brian Field co-hosted the second part the following week, with more post-Erick Fragment releases, and more recent recordings fondly described as "geriatric music" by Clive..The best of these by far was the Bacchanalian  "Party At The End Of The World,"  a current "work in progress" featuring many of Clive's friends, and probably anyone he could find on the street, on its huge chorus.  I was most impressed by the angelic voice of Clive's young son Djay, who sang the song's coda solo with piano accompaniment.  A triumph in my book, and top of hit parade in the End Times. If the end of the world comes, it had better sound like this.
