Summer 1999
The Adventure Begins
Summer 1999 was my first tour with Celebrants. I joined the Eurasia team for what I thought would be a summer. We traveled across the United States, from California to New York, and then, to the nation of Armenia.
Armenia was quite a landmark for me, as it was the first time I had ever been overseas. As soon as I stepped off the plane, however, I felt at home. The people were so warm and kind, and we and an awesome time of ministry.
It was during that outreach that I really felt that God was calling me to join Celebrants full time. Little did I know the awesome adventures He had in store for me!
