some pictures of my awesome friends
at Bryn Mawr life sucks but luckily not (all) the people ;)
all those sanity lunches and peacemaking dinners, Crystal, you're my mental health! My only but awesome Haverford friend who proves to me every Thursday that it is not the quantity but the quality that matters - to Emerson the Great who himself is worth the whole Haverford and a piece of Bryn Mawr too. Please stay motivated.
Oy Spirula-how about them Mollusks? Discovering the invertebrate paleontology alongside Bruce's secret rebellious past was the highlight of the Fall of 2004. Anadara for ever.
Melissa!!! :D Knowning you is like learning and you know how I love to learn. You know all my secrets and you laugh at my jokes. You brought me beer and believed in me. You are the best.
Magi, famous for saying things like "Don't my Magi me, I haven't seen your ass in a week" or "I'm happy to perform simple everyday miracles for you" has been the bestest of the best friends since day 1. She will be a famous economist one day but hopefully I will not become the opportunity cost of her precious corporate time.
Angelina, we still rock even though we didn't get the Marshall-I can't wait for you to be my family doctor, so hurry your ass up and come back from Russia. Oh right, you haven't gone there yet.
Maddie is the child that I will one day have, but for now she gets to hear my life wisdom and invaluable advice that I bestow upon her, thinking I actually have some experience.
Apart from sharing the Cairo experience with me (and knowing exactly what I mean when I say *la-a!*) Maddie has also scarred me for life by revealing to me the underlying message of Harry Potter books (you wish you'd known). She's in denial she's actually a field archaeologist (as opposed to a lab rat) and she will go to Harvard for that. She might not know it but In Muweilah she will be in the field. With me :)
Only Selva knows that there is no better way to fly than on Hansa's Luft, aka Luft'n'Asia. When I met you for the first time I distinctly remember being very high. Literarly in the sky. Keep shining but don't compare me to the Pope, he wouldn't like that. I wish I was Turkish like you, but I'm working on it as we speak. Now go, Mexico needs you!
