I have produced many kinds of art over the years, from folk paintings, impressionist works, illustrated furniture, Trompe L'oeil wall murals, sculpture, fabric wall hangings, selling them directly and through commissions, often to repeat buyers.
I've also completed two novels, several plays, short stories and articles, but these are much harder to sell. The writer's lot is a thankless one, for the most part, but we do it because we must, and
one day I want to do a children's book, combining both talents.
I have travelled a lot. lived in Australia, Canada and England, and never tire of seeing new places. My friends see me as a restless soul, but I am simply curious about the world around us and I just have to go and see for myself. I am now back in Toronto.
I developed Gran while I was in Australia, and she is one of my most popular characters, together with Celeste and Becky.
My pictures are very modestly priced, and aimed at those who love art, but not the sometimes exorbitant prices. I spend many hours producing each picture, with considerable detail work in them, and my prices don't reflect the time spent. All artists will understand this.
