ON THE FIELD MEMORIES: |

VAL (who plays better when she's mad) played three different positions, left/right, front/back. Not everyone can do that!�� Was so, so close about 4-5 times of getting a pass in the open field on the run to get a great shot off with her left foot.� Crossed the ball more than I can ever remember.� Tackled and took over the ball 3-4 times the last 7-8 minutes of the game.� Absolutely ate their right fullback up the last five min when her leg dead teammates needed it.� Midfield was praying you would not lose the ball and you didn't.� I think she got mad at me, thank god she took it out on the right fullback. Great and very smart effort! |

Cynthia - What can I say? Played on 1 � legs the first half and 1 leg the second half.� HARD to play soccer on one foot.� Went in every time I asked her to.� The last 5-10 min between Val & Amanda; Cynthia supported by Amanda, they kept the ball on the other team's end of the field,� totally controlled the ball and I think they even knew what they were doing. Very likely saved our you know whats cause our MF (mid-field) was dead. |

KELSEY - Showed up late, I thought OH NO??� Went in played lights out, probably made the two best longer passes in the game both switching the field of play.� Never, never gave up, came from nowhere one time and saved Ms. Lee's torso!!!! Tremendous effort. |

CLAIR AND MEGAN; THE INSIDE MIDFIELDERS - Can't separate you, teamwork , teamwork and teamwork . One is up the other stays back and supports, one's out wide the other supports, one brings down a goal kick the other shows.� They probably brought down 75% of the goal kicks and goalie punts made by both teams. Hustle, Hustle and more hustle, they're everywhere, offense, defense, passing , trapping .� Both played harder than I could ever have imagined, kept waiting for them to crap out but� they never did.� Clair scored on a perfect corner kick and almost put a free kick in.� Always puts out a good effort, this game she put out an unbelievable effort.� After the game was over her face was the same color as her NATURAL hair, if anyone can remember!!� Megan (now known as everyready!) was� absolutely everywhere, cut the ball on a girl and put her on the ground, top of the ball move on another who lost her balance, doing give and go's with the forwards, put out an unbelievable effort. After the game, was looking for a cell phone to call 911! |

������ What can I say, It probably won the game. Ashley, Jessica, Brit, Alicia and Chelsea.�� Alicia stopped about 3/4 of the other teams corner kicks, stole the ball so many times the coach told his team to play it the other way, dribbled the ball out� and fired one pass with her left foot almost knocked someone down.� After she dribbled out to the MF [mid-field] a couple of times, Jessica started doing it, good, good stuff.� Absolutely came from nowhere one time on a deflected ball that got thru everyone and cleared it probably saving a goal. The sweeper owes you money for that one. She ought to be a Fwd/MF scoring two goals a game.��
Ashley played lights out, did a number on their best player. Ashley just hammered her every time she got the ball, I thought she (their best player) sort of� got frustrated in the second half and sort of gave up, their coach was shocked , his star could not score.� When she got by Ashley a few times, here came the freight train Brit and not at half speed, I don't remember any strong shots from her (their best player) in the second half.� The coach had told me in Edmond they had no real competition in Tulsa, they had scored 70 some odd goals and had one player no one could stop, Well I should have introduced� him to Ashley, cause someone stopped her and he had more competition than they could handle in TULSA!!!!! Tremendous effort girl.�
The BRIT-played the best game I've seen her play since her knee injury.� Was everywhere she needed to be, virtually nothing got past her for a cheap score, played awfully smart.� I made a fairly strong comment about� giving them corner kicks!!� The next ball went 25 yards downfield and wide. Perfect!! With Ashley was a duo the other team could not handle. Teamwork , teamwork!���
Jessica played unbelievable.� Most of the game their top two players were on Jessica's right and left side plus she had her own player. One time took off dribbling, and found some open field, speeded up and I thought she was going to try to nutmeg the goalie.� Stayed with her player and won all the loose balls and played awfully strong the second half.� Great, great game. |

AND AT LAST, the play of the game award to Chelsea.� Who all saw it ?????� I did not know she could jump that high! Have you ever seen her jump that high?���� I think she's been holding out!!!!!�� How did she get that ball over the top of the net?????�� Do you think she could do that again????� I wish we had a video of that.� I don't know what to say except� "what a play" and that's about the third time you've made an unbelievable save since you joined us. Thanks girl! |
