| Oxo Tower - Barge House st. SE1 (0171 8033888) - Originally a power generating staion for the bos office, Oxo tower Wharff became a cold store and processing plant for the Oxo company in the 1920s. The tower was added in 1930 - it's design with geometrically styled wondows spelling out the brand name, was a clever avoidance of advertising restrictions of the inter-war years. |
