Dear Florence
                    What is the reason you don't answer my letters I have wrote
you 2 and got no answer now I want
to know when you are coming to Raymond. What are you doing over there. now Mrs Sorrell still wants the baby awful bad.
now the best thing you can do is give
it to her. she would give it a good home
and you could come to see it any time.
now answer and let me know if you
will give it to her she had ought to have
it you could never find as good a place
a gain. now I want to hear from you
I will go after the baby or you can bring
her over now write wright a way

The baby referred to in this letter was Opal, the daughter of Florence Hackney Mullens. Grandma Hackney was Elizabeth Hackney, Florence's Grandmother.
