---- Ban On Gaming In Brazil ---- posted - 14/12/2002

I've gotten an email from someone in Brazil asking for some help from the gaming community. It seems that a judge in Maceio, Brazil has banned gaming for kids under 18 in fear they will leave their local lans and go off killing people! Just like that ban in Greece that was reported a few months ago, the police are arresting the Lan shop owners if anyone under 18 is caught playing there. The anonymous person who emailed me says they now have to pay someone to sit outside the lan to alert the others once the police have arrived. What else are we going to hear?
