He-Man and the Masters of the Universe was a kick-ass cartoon (well except for Orko) based on a line of toys by Mattel. The show orginally aired from 1983-1988. He-Man was later rebroadcast on the USA network's Cartoon Express. The show was a half hour in length. The cartoon took place on the planet Eternia. He-Man (voice by John Erwin) and is trusty companion Battlecat (voice by Erik Gunden) took on Skeletor (voice by Alan Oppenheimer) and his legion of henchmen. The toy line is still worth some money today if you are lucky enough to have any of them in good condition.
