HABERDASHER NEWS 3/21/04
The Dasher was back once again to show who the gods of acoustic freestyle rock are and whipped out some awesome jams. Having 3rd in a set of 7, we felt even more godly. Things went well, performing a mix of songs and having a small crowd, but a good one. The great members of The Mayo watched us and were totally cool. Even Dave Gregg of Expungo found us entertaining with our sexy Milkshake cover. In our classic outfits and with a kickin' intro by Dabid, we were the best!
As the Dasher continued down the long and lonesom road to stardom, we had finally thought we found the damned Indian Chieftain, who stole our power crystal! He had taken away our immortality and replaced with an effing piece of crumpled paper. Oh, the dearest cruelty! TV is the real Satan I must say. While performing our beautiful masterpieces, people viewed a stupid basketball game on TV sculpted by the devil himself! I was shocked and ashamed and scared for the individuals drawn in by the televison box of the anti-christ! Many curses!!
Braving the cold and free-styling in immense forms, we'd made it to stardom! We are now signed to Paul Speeder Records and will be re-releasing Naked Chicken demos and making a new studio album. As the show ended, the crowd waved and smiled like Marilyn Monroe impersonators all glammed up for a night on the town with the vanilla coke in one hand and the contracepccion in the other....
