Nutritional Facts of Strawberries

Strawberries are naturally fat, sodium, and cholesterol-free. They are high in Vitamin C and float which helps the body metabolize protein. Recently, cancer researchers sang the praises of strawberries for their large quantities of allagic acid, which they claim reduces the risk of cancer. Strawberries are a good source of potassium, too.

* Expected Values * The results obtained in the CSIR analysis were much lower than expected average values which are given alongside. The CSIR believes the very low figures obtained could have been the result of freeze-drying the samples or the grape harvest being overlong in storage, or due to the analysis being conducted at the end of the grape growing season. |
