| * I call this one "The better to eat you with". Right now I'm reading Stephen King's "IT" *for like the 20th freakin' time), and if any of you out there have read it too, you'll remember all the cool parts where "IT" turned itself into the teenage werewolf. Now, of course this isn't meant to be a direct scene from the book or movie, but I just thought it would be cool to do something in a similar vein. The book got me thinking about all those kick-ass werewolf movies of the 30's and 40's, so that's why the picture is in black and white. I'm actually a REALLY big fan of black and white photography. Those of you who have been to my bio page (HINT,HINT) will notice that my bio-pic is in black and white. I just think that when you are trying to build suspense and atmosphere, it's REALLY difficult to do better than filming in B&W. Why, just look at the original "Night of the Living Dead" to see that sometimes less is more. |
