| *If you've been watching either the news or the olympics lately, you've probably heard about the advertisment that Nike aired which featured one of America's olympic racers being chased through the woods by a chainsaw-bearing, masked maniac. Now, obviously this maniac was meant to be a cross between Michael Myers of "Halloween" fame, and Jason Voorhees of "Friday the 13th" fame. Now, I LOVE slasher flicks (I even have a Jason tattoo and one inspired in-part by the "Halloween" films), so I thought the commercial was pretty cool, and was glad to see it done. You can view the commercial over at the Nike site , so why not go check it out ?As far as this picture, I wanted to make my own Frankenstein-like bastardization of "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th", so I just put Michael Myers in a more Jason-esque setting (Mostly 'cause I was lazy and didn't feel like designing a suburban neighborhood. Sue me.).* |
