*Okay,troops. Here is where you learn how to grenade jump. Grenade jumping is when you use the explosion from your own grenade to fly across the level . While it does hurt you quite a bit, it can be WELL worth it to be able to access a part of the enemy's base where they won't expect you. To grenade jump, ALL you have to do is NOT let go of your grenade when you prime it. This may sound INCREDIBLY stupid, and I may look like a MAJOR dumb-ass to make a page about this. However, unless someone tells a newbie about this, they will never find out. I had been playing Q3F for about 2 months before I learned how to grenade jump, because I came from TFC and you can't do hand-held grenade jumps. So, here is a step by step guide to grenade jumping...*

*Step 1*: Get in front of a place you want to jump to. As long as you are within 200 yards of a place you SHOULD be able to get to it as long as you aim at it.

*Step 2*: Press whatever button you have bound for your NORMAL grenade. And KEEP it pressed until it explodes. Once it explodes (IF you have the health and armor to survive the explosion) you will go flying to whereever you aimed to as long as it was in range.

*And thats about it. Its a risky manuever, but its the best thing to do when the enemy team has a good sniper and you HAVE to get into their base NOW. If you aren't in any particular hurry though, I do suggest you try out the secondary routes into their base. More on this in the STEALTH section.One last warning however, make SURE of wether or not the server has freindly fire or mirror damage on before you grenade jump near a teammate, as you could kill them.*
