This quiz was designed to tell you if you are a despie or not. Even if you don�t THINK you�re a despie, take this quiz anyway. You might be a despie without realizing it. 1. Is your character very beautiful/handsome?
a) Yeah, my character is a TOTAL hottie! And they're really sweet and kind and stuff, too, and everyone wants to date them.
b) Imbecile. That spelling was horrible. Yes, my character is attractive. So what?
c) My character is pretty nice looking, but he/she has her weak points, too. Definately not perfect.
d) My character is average looking, really. Yay for average.
e) My character is kinda ugly, actually. Interesting story about how he got that scar. . .
f) My character is really good looking, but they're in a wheelchair and can't walk.
2. What about his/her partner? Are they good looking?
a) Pssssh, why would you think I�ve got a boyfriend/girlfriend? ;D I'm always open for a new one~
b) No. My character has no partner, but they are single.
c) Maybe a little. They�re pretty good looking, but they aren�t flawless.
d) Mmm, nope. They might look beautiful to me, but most would call them average.
e) Oh yes. He/she is SO hot. My character and he/she even got fifteen matching eyebrow piercings, and he/she scratched my name into their forehead with a pen knife, just for my character! :D
f) Yeaaaaah baby! My character and his/her partner got their legs amputated at the same time. >D They've been in love ever since.
3. What's your characters family like?
a) They're both famous musicians and actors, and they went to college to be doctors. I have a twin sister/brother and we're identical and famous.
b) My dad's a lawyer and my mom works at home, but is always busy, I have no siblings. I am all alone, and no one pays attention to me.
c) My character's parents can be overprotective and slightly annoying. My character doesn't always agree with them.
d) My dad works at Pg&E and my mom's a kindergarten teacher. o-o My siblings are in college.
e) ...I was spawned by carnies. They were killed by a psycho, and I must avenge their memories.
f) They were both killed in a fatal car accident and I ran away from my orphanage. My sister was killed by a gorilla at a petting zoo. My brother was stillborn. When I was born I hit the floor and fractered the lower bone in my right leg and ripped an underdevelopd legament. I was then adopted by a pair of cruel step parents that made me work like a slave for several years and beat me/raped me daily. But I managed to stay strong and good through the whole miserable experience.
4. Does your character have a tragic life?
a) Not really. Everyone loves my character.
b) Aside from being ignored by the overall population, I don't think so.
c) Tragic life? No, not really. Maybe some bad and/or annoying stuff has happened, but life doesn't suck all THAT much.
d) Life is pretty normal. Everyone has problems. But my character doesn't have a fatal illness with a 1 in 1,000,000,000 chance of survival statistic, if that's what you're asking.
e) Well, maybe not tragic. . . I prefer the word 'dark'.
f) Hell, yah! Life is a miserable, almost hopeless game. But maybe if my deformed character found true love, they would be happy at last and get their well deserved reward for having such a sucky life.
5. Any special traits?
a) He/she can shoot lazer beams from his/her eyes, and fly, and use the Force even though they're not a Jedi.
b) Yes, he/she got all of her amazing powers from her parents.
c) Mmm, just one - He/she can jam a whole hot-dog in their mouth without choking. 8D
d) Nope. n_n
e) Hellz yes! He/she never screams when he/she gets a new tattoo or piercing. He/she is immune to pain. >D
f) Nope, his/her powers were stripped away from her in a tragic spaceship accident. T__T
If you answered mostly a: You're a hopeless despie and are an idiot. You have perfect characters that should be shot.
If you answered mostly b: You're a rarity known as a literate despie. You have perfect characters, and you can spell, and with a bit of coaching, you could easily be converted. Good luck!
If you answered mostly c: You're a normal person. Just be careful that you remember to keep true to the phrase 'definately not perfect'. Have some very bad qualities to your charries, and you should be fine. No worries.
If you answered mostly d: You're perfectly fine. Yay for you, and yay for your non-despie-ish charries.
If you answered mostly e: You're a normal person, maybe with a slightly depressed personality. You like gruesome characters at times. That's perfectly fine. As long as you aren't trying to make people pity your characters, more power to you!
If you answered mostly f: You are also a hopeless despie. You give your characters "flaws" to try and make them nondespieish, but you've failed miserably. No one wants a sob story, babe. Do everyone a favor and destroy your computer.
