Despies, Good RPers and Writers alike, we (Chrissy and Tara) both hope that you enjoyed our guide (or, at least, if you didn�t enjoy it, that you found it somewhat informative and useful. Bet a lot of people hated it, anyway.)
We would both like to say that we were not trying to offend anyone. Well, okay, we were. We were trying very hard to offend Despies everywhere so that they would get their act together and learn how to write and/or RP better for the benefit of mankind as a whole. We were insulting Despies, Mary Sues, Godmoders, and Illiterates for the greater good (and because it was fun.)
We would like to apologize if we hurt you, and we would like to encourage all of our readers to send us success stories! If you�re a Despie that saw the light and fixed your problems, tell us! If you�re a good RPer or writer that picked up a few hints on dealing with Despies or improving your already good characters, please contact us. We want to know that we�re reaching people.
We would like to wish all of you good luck in your endeavors, and we hope that we have helped to make the writing and role-playing world a kinder, more literate place. That was our intention in the first place, and I hope that we succeed, for our own benefit as well as everyone else�s.
Feel free to show this guide to others, or to quote it. We want it to be helpful. However, please do not pass it off as your own work.
