Entry for August 24, 2006
Okay. The one thing I was afraid of when I woke up this morning was that the orientation I had to go to would be lame. Eventually, I decided to go with my room mates because they thought it would be fun to meet people, plus I didn't know what the consequences would be if I didn't go to this "required" thing. So anyways, the first thing we did when we walked in was sit in a circle, and say our names with a word that started with the same letter as our name. example: crazy christine. It sucked. Then, no joke, we played tag. Not only was it tag, but we had to choose partners first and we could only chase that one person. I seriously wanted to run out of there screaming. It was the dumbest thing ever. It got even dumber later. We did get to see that guy who does that evolution of dance thing on the internet. I did get to meet a lot of cool people though, and I found that a lot of people from high school who I didnt get along with now suddenly LOVE me because they don't know anyone else. Pretty dang funny. And my new room mate is awesome. The first thing she said when we started talking about rules was "Im not gonna lie to you girls, I'm having parties, and there are going to be drunk people". I think there are actually guys coming over to see her already tonight. It was funny because it definately threw out the idea of me and jenni not being able to have our boyfriends visit. We basically decided that there our no rules for now. I personally don't care what they do as long as I can't hear them once I shut my door and turn up my music. Right now, I am waiting for Jenni to get of the phone so we can go to meijer. fun stuff. I need to buy a bunch of stuff, but mostly we just want to see what the big deal is about "meijer madness" hahaha. Anyways, Eric is at a movie or something right now, so I probably won't get to talk to him until later. At least I know I don't have to worry about offending anyone by having him here. As long as he doesn't stay over two days and we get charged for his rent, him being here is no big deal. hehehe. Well, I'm off to go see what trouble I can get in at the store.
