I woke up this morning at 5 because the thunder was rattling everything in my room, and my surge protector was making this crazy loud beeping noise, and then I decided it would be a great idea to walk to school holding onto a metal umbrella pole. It was crazy, the lightning was branching out and going all the way down to the ground. I kept walking and saying to myself "Im not the tallest thing, I'm not the tallest thing". Pretty funny stuff. Bio lab was interesting this morning. We use these long glass pipes to measure out liquids, and then we have to shove this thing on the top of the pipe so the liquid doesn't come out, kinda like when you put your thumb on a straw. Anyways, this kid was shoving the thing on the pipe, and the glass broke. He was pushing so hard that his arm was impaled on the sharp broken end of the glass... It wasnt good. Luckily, my bio lab teacher is also a nurse. So she washes it out for him, and has him hold towels on it while she goes to the back room to get some bandages and stuff. He was just standing there holding his arm and BAM! he passed out and fell on the floor. I felt so bad for him. So then when I was walking back from class, It started raining really really hard and blowing straight at me. I had my umbrella directly in front of my face because that's where the water was coming from and then I ran into a trash can. I felt so special. It made me laugh so hard though. I remember when I was a little kid, I wanted this minnie mouse umbrella, but my mom wouldn't buy it for me because she said I was only allowed to have clear plastic umbrellas so I woudn't run into things. Smart, smart lady. When I finally got back to my apartment, I had so much water in my shoes I seriously had to take them off in the shower so I wouldn't get the floor all wet. haha. It's been a long day so far. I'm supposed to be on the bus for nursing 120 right now. However, my teacher emailed us saying not to bring class notes because we are just going to have fun today. I decided I could have fifty times more fun staying here and taking a shower than anything she could possibly come up with. Either that or I'm going to see if anyone wants to go to purple east with me and buy rain boots. They used to have some really cute ones.
