Christine's Life
All about my college life
Entry for September 15, 2006
I got attacked by grasshoppers this morning. yup. it finally happened. im too lazy to capitalize anything right now. i seriously think i have some sort of grasshopper phobia. i really don't like them. I felt something in my shoe after I got to school, and I was paranoid all through my first class that it was a grasshopper. yup. I think I need more sleep. OH MY GOSH. Okay, so there's this really heavy girl in my psych class, I mean heavy like one of the ladys that walk into wal mart and suddenly every little kid has something urgent to point out to their mom. Im not saying this to be mean, but you wouldn't get the true funnyness of this story without that detail. The class is set up like a movie theatre where the rows of chairs slant down toward the front of the room so everyone can see the teacher at the front. She always sits in one of the front seats, and she is squished between the chair and the desk in a way that causes her to always stay sitting upright. Anyways, she always falls asleep sitting up like this about five minutes into every class. She always breathes really really hard too - mr. gilbert style. Well, today, she was all out snoring. I mean, she was louder than the professor. He would just keep on talking all serious and professionally, and she would be sawing logs... really really big ones. Whenever things would get quiet, she would do this huge snort. I thinnk everyone in that class had turned completely purple from trying not to crack up at this point. Eventually, it got so bad, kids had to leave class because they couldn't stop laughing. If you know how I get when I'm tired, you know that everything is pretty dang hilarious to me in the first place. Well, there I was with like 20 min. of sleep last night, sitting between two laughing people. Finally she snorted really really loud and I just couldn't keep it together. I put my sweatshirt hood over my head, tied it over my face, and all was lost. It as a dark, funny world. I don't think I can make it through another class if she keeps doing that. I mean, I could not take it. To make things even funnier, the mumbling guy from walmart still talks really funny, and the guy next to him always has to translate what he is trying to say to the teacher. Well, enough making fun of people for me, I have to go find some way to keep my sister entertained. I GET TO SEE ERIC TOMORROW! YAAAAY!!!
